I saw God today...

...in the wonder and amazement of my children as they enjoyed the company of a local toad.

...in the beauty of the butterfly that traveled to town with me inside my Jeep.  Beautiful!

... in the katydid perched on my door.

...sitting on the bird feeder on my back deck.

I saw God today...

...in two playful kitties pouncing each other for control of the plastic bag.

...on my back deck following the birds as they ate from the bird feeders.

...in the innocent, silly laughter of my 9 month old baby boy.

...in the smile on the face of a grieving mother.

...In a very kind stranger who took the time to write to me and send me pictures of my son while he travels the USA to find himself. She fed and shelter him for a short time. Thank you Cindi

...in the joy expressed as laughter from my little baby boy as he delighted in his first sighting of bubbles being blown and floating away in the cool summer breeze.

I saw God today...

...in the impromptu sermon given by a gracious, unexpecting servant of Christ. What a blessing to see God at work in those around us. So thankful!

...in a very happy turtle eating her snack of worms freshly dug from the garden soil by two incredibly excited little girls.

I saw God today...

...in the random spots of Daffodils planted along the Interstates.

I saw God toay...

... in the endless rows of golden Forsythia growing wild on the rolling hills of Virginia.

I Saw God Today...

... as I rushed down the highway at more than 65 miles per hour and glimpsed a lone doe standing in the grass. She watched the traffic zoom pass and nibbled on the dewy grass, she made me remember to slow down.

...in the ever growing list of my past victories.

I saw God today...

... in the gracefulness and peace of the horses relaxing in the field during the morning hours.

In a very kind stranger. After Church this morning I stopped into Starbucks to get a tea and there was this every nice gentleman who was behind me and he leaned in and whispered ~ you have a little something on your forehead. It was my Ashes from Ash Wednesday services.
